One man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting in Logan

Logan Police have taken one man into custody after a shooting that left one person dead.

The shooting occurred at 234 Riverbend Road in Logan at about 6:30 a.m. on Friday. A 23-year-old man police have identified as Dylan Milian, who had been in a relationship with the 28-year-old woman who lives at the address, showed up at the apartment.

The details of what happened next are unclear, but a 26-year-old man who lives at the residence allegedly shot and killed Milian. Officers arrived and found two adult females performing life-saving measures on Milian. They took over CPR until medical assistance arrived, but their efforts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

There were four children in the apartment under the age of 7, but Capt. Tyson Budge said he doesn’t believe any of them were in the room when Milian was shot.

Police don’t think Milian had any weapons on him. Budge said the suspect is cooperating with police.
