19-year-old wounded by drive-by shooting in Taylorsville

Unified Police are looking for the person who shot a 19-year-old man in the leg in Taylorsville on Thursday night.

The victim of the drive-by shooting was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but he is expected to survive, according to UPD.

The shooting occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. at an apartment complex at 1141 W. 3900 South. Someone in a gold-colored sedan fired out the window of the car, striking the 19-year-old in the leg, according to police.

No further description of the car or the people in it was available, although police did say there was more than one person in the car.
