Utah ski resorts report first snow of 2018-2019 season

Ski resorts across Utah have received their first measurable snowfall — about six weeks before the slopes are scheduled to open.

According to a news release from Ski Utah, the southern Utah resorts of Brian Head and Eagle Point recorded snow Thursday. Resorts on the Wasatch Front found snow Friday.

Exact totals were not specified.
