Hundreds of sheep arrived in Midway’s Soldier Hollow on Wednesday for the 16th annual Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championship and Festival, which runs Friday through Monday. This year, 44 dogs and 34 handlers from across the globe are scheduled to compete for a $20,000 purse.
