A 13-year-old boy with autism who went missing on Wednesday morning has been found, Salt Lake City police said.
The boy left a facility at 1370 S. West Temple, across the street from Smith’s Ballpark, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to Salt Lake City police Det. Robert Ungricht.
He rode a FrontRunner train up to Ogden, where he was found at a Walmart just before 2 p.m., Ungricht said.
The boy frequently rides public transportation, Ungricht said, and in the past has ridden up to Ogden to visit the Utah State Rail Road Museum.
