Mike Slater, regional aquatics biologist with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, sent in some photos and a brief report from annuall fall gillnetting Thursday at Yuba Reservoir. Data collected will be analyzed and updated in the coming weeks. Northern pike, carp, and walleye turned up in the nets. The largest northern
pike sampled was 38 inches and the primary food source found in northern pike stomachs was carp. Anglers in boats reported having some success fishing for northern pike.
