The North American leg of Timberlake’s tour will stop in 27 cities, kicking off in Toronto on March 13 and wrapping in his hometown of Memphis, Tenn., on May 30.

Timberlake’s new album, “Man of the Woods,” is scheduled for a Feb. 2 release. A news release notes, “The new material will give a self-reflective look at his journey into fatherhood, and offer up personal insight into his layered life experiences.” Timberlake himself says, “The outdoors is the inspiration for a lot of these songs,” and adds that the tour will be an attempt to “bring the outside in.”

Timberlake also is slated as the headlining performer for the Super Bowl LII halftime show on Feb. 4. The multiplatinum artist earned an Academy Award nomination and his 10th career Grammy award in 2017 for “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” from the film “Trolls.” He has also won four Emmys for his appearances on “Saturday Night Live.”
