If anyone on this Earth should "know when to fold 'em" and "know when to walk away," it's Kenny Rogers.

And now, it seems, the 78-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer is taking his own advice.

Rogers, who has 24 No. 1 hits in his career and a record charting in each of the past seven decades, has announced his "Final World Tour: The Gambler's Last Deal."

It includes a stop at Salt Lake City's Eccles Theater on Friday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. MT. They will be available via the Eccles Theater website (www.live-at-the-eccles.com), by phone (801-355-ARTS) and at the Eccles Theater box office (131 S. Main St.).

"I've been so lucky to have enjoyed such a long career and to have such amazing support from my fans and all who have helped me along the way, but there comes a time when I need to focus on spending time with my family," Rogers said in a statement. "My life is about my wife and my 11-year-old twin boys right now."

The show will also feature special guest Linda Davis.

The three-time Grammy winner has sold more than 120 million albums in his career, making him one of the top 10 best-selling male solo artists of all time, according to the RIAA.

He is best known for such songs as "The Gambler," "Lucille," "Coward of the County," "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town," "Lady," "Islands in the Stream," "She Believes in Me," "We've Got Tonight," "Daytime Friends," "Through the Years," "You Decorated My Life" and "Buy Me a Rose."
