Whether you live in Daybreak or plan to catch a Salt Lake Bees game there, you’ll soon have more nearby places to dine than ever.
Four new restaurants and a store that sells nostalgic candy are coming to the master-planned community in southwest Salt Lake County.
According to an Instagram post on Daybreak’s account, Rockwell Ice Cream, Taste of Red Iguana, Nomad Eatery and Naraya Thai will all be opening in Daybreak in 2026, as well as Jolley’s Corner, a boutique that offers a pharmacy, flowers, gifts, apparel and an array of candy.

Rockwell’s premium ice cream is made with 16% butterfat, its website says, resulting in rich, creamy ice cream that features inclusions like honeycomb candy chunks, marshmallow cream and fresh strawberries.
Nomad Eatery’s menu includes a variety of small plates, sandwiches, burgers and more.
Naraya Thai is owned by the same folks that operate Sawadee Thai in downtown Salt Lake City, Daybreak posted on Instagram.
And iconic Mexican restaurant Red Iguana posted on Instagram that the new location would be opening in the spring.
“This space is going to bring more moles, more margaritas, more memories, and more of the Red Iguana family to a whole new neighborhood,” the post read.
The opening of the new Taste of Red Iguana comes on the heels of the closure of its City Creek location in January.
