Swig is scheduled to open sometime in the fall.

(Swig) A new location of the soda shop chain Swig is scheduled to open in Sugar House.

A new location of Swig is opening in Sugar House, a representative for the Utah company confirmed this week.

Construction has just started on the new soda shop at 1855 S. 700 East, a second representative said. According to Google Maps, that address is the former location of Jitterbug Coffee Hop.

The new Swig is scheduled to open sometime in the fall.

Swig, which started in St. George in 2010 but has since expanded across Utah as well as into Arizona, Idaho, Oklahoma and Texas, is known for its “dirty sodas,” or soda with flavorings added. Its menu also features “reviver” energy drinks and “refreshers,” made with still or sparkling water.
