There’s a food truck ‘takeout night’ happening near you

Each week, different mobile food vendors park in communities across the Wasatch Front.

(Archive photo) Fry Me to The Moon, shown here prior to the pandemic, is one of several mobile food vendors participating in the Food Truck League's weekly takeout nights.

The Food Truck League has started its weekly “takeout nights” in suburban cities along the Wasatch Front.

Right now, the events are held weeknights — from 5 to 7:30 p.m. — in six communities from North Ogden to Spanish Fork. More locations will be added throughout the spring and summer. The food trucks rotate among the site, so each week there’s a different menu to try.

Check the league’s website for more information.

Takeout nights are currently scheduled in the following cities:

Monday • North Salt Lake’s Legacy Park, 1140 W. 1100 North.

Tuesday • Eagle Mountain, 8087 Porters Crossing Parkway.

Thursday • North Ogden Park, 2750 N. 500 East.

Thursday • Stansbury Park, Porter Way and Star Discovery Way.

Friday • Bountiful Downtown Plaza, 87 E. 100 South.

Friday • Spanish Fork City Library, 49 S. Main.
