Park City the first stop on national outdoor dining tour

The first dinner in the national #eatoutthere summer tour, hosted by the wilderness and adventure dining company Cloth & Flame, will be in the mountains near Park City on Saturday, June 24.

The Phoenix-based company, led by co-founders Matt Cooley and Olivia Laux, offers guests a chef-prepared meal in the mountains and under the stars.

Until this year, Cloth & Flame has only hosted dinners in Arizona, but after landing on the June cover of Sunset Magazine, the owners decided to take the concept on the road.

Park City is the first location on the summer tour, which also will make stops in California, Jackson Hole, Portland and Alaska.

Tickets are $125 per person at clothandflame.com. Click on upcoming events. Purchase deadline is Thursday, June 15.

The exact location of the Park City dinner will be released a week before the event, and diners will be transported to the site from a central meeting location. A local chef will write the menu and create dishes tableside in a pop-up kitchen built before the event.
