The Country Music Association’s 2025 Entertainer of the Year is being honored in a brand-new way at farms across North America.
American singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson‘s face will be carved into corn mazes at family farms in 25 different states (and some in Canada) to pay homage to her contributions to country music.
One of those farms is Utah’s own Cornbelly’s in Spanish Fork.
This isn’t the first time the Utah County farm has paid homage to a country music trailblazer — it featured mazes for Reba McEntire in 2023 and Luke Bryan in 2024.
“Growing up on a fifth-generation farm in Louisiana,” Wilson said in a news release, “my country roots run deep and I’m honored to be a part of something that brings more people out to farms to create memories and experience a little bit of what I grew up with.”
The maze will feature an interactive quiz about Wilson as guests navigate the field.
Cornbelly’s is celebrating its 30th season this year. Owner Brett Herbst and a handful of friends from Brigham Young University started designing corn mazes in 1996. When the first maze drew a crowd of 18,000, they knew they were onto something.
Since then, Herbst and his friends have created The MaiZE — a company that creates mazes for farms worldwide. They’ve designed more than 6,000 mazes, including the Wilson maze.
“We couldn’t be more excited to honor Lainey in so many of our maze designs this year,” Herbst said in a news release. “Our mazes are all about bringing people closer together to create memories on the farm, and Lainey represents that so perfectly with her love for agriculture and being a country girl at heart.”
Cornbelly’s has two locations in Utah County: one in Spanish Fork and one in Lehi. Lehi’s corn maze will honor the 30th anniversary of Cornbelly’s, while the Spanish Fork farm will also feature a “Sesame Street” sunflower trail that will be open through Nov. 1.
The Wilson tribute maze is open now.
