Like turning leaves and pumpkin spice lattes, “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is becoming a fall tradition — and they’re coming back for more reality-show drama in September.
The sixth season of the popular reality series will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 16, Bravo announced Thursday.
Bravo also released a three-minute teaser reel, highlighting several arguments and suggesting financial and personal scandals among the seven cast members.
All of last season’s Housewives will return for season six: Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, Bronwyn Newport and Whitney Rose.
Also returning is “friend” Britani Bateman, whose presence sparked plenty of drama last season.
The teaser reel shared Thursday shows the women flying to Greece — Katsanevas’ ancestral home — and sailing with the crew of “Below Deck Down Under,” another Bravo reality show. Bravo, in a news release, said that trip also will be featured on the “Below Deck” series.
In its release, Bravo also teased other developments:
• Lisa “lands in the middle of the group’s gossip,” the release said. And “an insightful psychic reading illuminates cracks” in her marriage to John Barlow.
• Mary welcomes the group to her church after a years-long renovation. At home, works to support her son Robert Jr.’s sobriety and deals with the death of her estranged mother.
• Heather helps her youngest daughter prepare to move out of the house. “Her friendship with Whitney is as strong as ever, but her rift with Lisa continues to grow,” according to the release.
• Angie pursues Greek citizenship and goes back to her salon to practice her hairdressing skills when her beauty license expires. “Her sharp tongue and cutting shade,” the release says, cause problems with both Mary and Lisa.
• Meredith works to turn her Park City jewelry store into a caviar lounge — an effort that causes friction with her husband, Seth Marks.
• Bronwyn brings her parents to live with her in Salt Lake City after a series of health scares but is stressed by her mother’s harsh critiques.
• Whitney and her husband, Justin Rose, deal with the fallout from a “misstep” with her business. Also, the release says, “her ongoing feud with Lisa reaches an all-time high.”
• Britani makes an announcement about her love life, “but proves that not all good things can last as their relationship reverts to old patterns,” the release states.
