Member of a world-famous rock band features a Utah music shop on his Instagram
The drummer has over 8 million followers on the platform.

A Utah music shop’s iconic skull logo has already been seen around the globe, but a recent Instagram post from the drummer of a world-renowned rock band has put it in front of the eyes of over 8 million people.
Travis Barker of Blink-182 posted a series of photos this week, the last of which shows him and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, with their son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, at the beach. In it, Kardashian Barker, a media personality and reality TV star, is wearing a Heavy Metal Shop hoodie.
The Heavy Metal Shop, based in Salt Lake City, boasts that it has been “peddlin’ evil since 1987.” Two years ago, the shop celebrated its 35th anniversary. Owner Kevin Kirk also highlighted Barker’s post on his Instagram.
Last year, the Heavy Metal Shop moved from its longtime Exchange Place location downtown to a spot in the Maven District on 900 South.
