Jen Shah blacks out on ‘The Real Housewives of SLC’

She seems to be spiraling out of control on the latest episode.

(Bravo) Jen Shah goes after Meredith Marks in a Season 2 episode of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Awaiting trial on federal fraud charges, Jen Shah goes on a “girls trip” to San Diego with “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” and a couple of friends — and she seems to be fraying at the edges. Here are highlights of the latest episode:

Angie K. is still furious with Jen • She’s still stewing over Jen pouring a glass of champagne on her head in the previous episode. And she’s still alleging that Jen swindled her into paying $15,000 to host a birthday party for Jen’s husband, U. assistant football coach Sharrieff Shah. “She told me she’s not guilty [of the federal charges] and I’m choosing to believe her,” Angie K. says. (This is three months before Jen pleaded guilty.) “But then somehow I got conned into paying for this entire event.” And, she adds, “I have the money.”

Jen is still furious with Angie K. • But, she seems to be even angrier with Lisa Barlow for acting friendly toward Angie K. When Lisa tries to console and hug Jen, Jen screams at her and shoves her away. The appear on the edge of a physical fight when Heather Gay steps between them.

Housewives “friend” Danna Bui-Negrete is still struggling • Danna, who previously interjected herself in the Jen-Angie H. fight without knowing what was happening, remains on point: “You guys started screaming at each other for no reason.” Lisa replies, “It’s not for no reason, Danna.”

On a yacht in the bay • Jen throws Angie K.’s $1,500 shoes overboard and lies to Angie K.’s face about it.

Meredith can’t dance • Jen throws a Polynesian-themed party, complete with dance lessons. Meredith Marks struggles. “I’m a 50-year-old with no hips, no butt. Like, what do you want from me? I’m doing the best I can,” she says with a laugh.

The Harringtons look bad • Through Danna, and in a flashback, we learn that the Harringtons have reneged on their promise to post a public apology for the fake Instagram page Chris H. used to troll Jen and Lisa. Their attorney and PR people told them to avoid any association with Jen. Not only did Chris instigate this, but this is all playing out on TV so reneging is pointless.

Jen suffers memory blackout • “You’re coming at me today?” Lisa yells at Jen. “I don’t [expletive] deserve that.” Jen replies, “When did I come at you?” — and she seems genuinely oblivious to her horrific behavior a few hours earlier on the yacht.

It’s not just shocking, it’s cause for genuine concern. Meredith says, “I know Jen is not in a very great mental state. To be so upset and or drunk that you don’t have a recollection of what happened is not good.”

Another weird turn • Arguing with Jen at dinner, Lisa brings up the champagne dump. Jen assumes a calm demeanor, turns to Angie K., and offers what seems like a sincere apology. And Angie K. accepts. This is so stunning the other woman can only stare at Jen. From mortal enemies to BFFs in a matter of seconds?

Jen issues an ultimatum • She tells Heather to choose between friendship with her and friendship with Angie H. Heather refuses. “Go find yourself another Heather Gay. I’m out,” she says.

The next episode of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Wednesday, Dec. 7, on Bravo — 7 p.m. on Dish and DirecTV; 10 p.m. on Comcast. Previous episodes can be streamed via Peacock or on demand.
