Park City paid tribute to the town’s mining heritage Monday with the 125th-anniversary celebration of Miners’ Day, which had to go on hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Held every Labor Day, the events and activities featured the Miners’ Day parade down Main Street, the Bark City 5K Run, the legendary Running of the Balls to raise money for local nonprofits, and a daylong celebration in City Park with entertainment, food trucks and games.

In its mining heyday, Park City was a leading producer of silver. For more information, visit parkcityminersday.org.
