Ancient and modern cultures of China illuminated with new Dragon Lights at Utah State Fairpark

(Trent Nelson | The Salt Lake Tribune) Dragon Lights SLC, part of the China Lights touring festival, opens on March 23 and continues through May 6 at the Utah State Fairpark. This international cultural experience includes 39 custom-built illuminated exhibits, traditional Chinese handicrafts, dance and acrobatic performances, and a variety of Chinese food and traditional fair food and beverages. Dragon Lights SLC provides an opportunity for the community to explore the ancient culture of China while learning about China today.

Dragon Lights SLC, a cultural experience that includes 39 custom-built illuminated exhibits, traditional Chinese handicrafts, dance and acrobatic performances, opens Friday at the Utah State Fairpark.

The event, sponsored by Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc. and part of the China Lights touring festival, continues through May 6, offering an exploration of the ancient and modern cultures of China.

Dragon Lights SLC also includes a variety of Chinese food, plus traditional fair food and beverages.
