Top 5 reasons to attend the 48th annual Kimball Arts Fest

Here’s why, there is a little something for everyone.

The 48th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival comes to historic Main Street in Park City, Utah Friday, August 4 through Sunday, August 6.  With more than 225 artists representing 33 states and more than 30 live musical acts performing on three stages, this three day event is full of family fun for all as it focuses on art, cuisine and music. Bring your whole family and fill your weekend with diverse activities at an affordable cost. There is more to do than just look at art. From kids’ art activities to beer gardens, we promise you’ll be well entertained.

1. Art + Outdoors.

Enjoy the beauty of art with a mountain backdrop. The visual arts are well represented at the Park City Kimball Arts Festival encompassing 12 disciplines. Experience a collection of the finest national art as you walk through Park City’s iconic Historic Main Street.

2. Attention Kids!

Children love the kids’ art area because they can let loose and create their own masterpieces. Kids can use squirt guns filled with colorful water based paint and make splatter based paintings! They can also make their own clay jewelry, design their own bamboo windcatcher, get their faces painted and more. Join the action as our creative team and the public work together to build and complete a large scale sculpture on-site at the Park City Kimball Arts Festival! Kids will use recycled materials to create a topographic map-like sculpture that will resemble the Park City landscape. With the Kids’ Area Fast Pass, children can participate in all four art activities for $10.

3. Food for all the Foodies.

The Taste of Art showcases Park City’s incredible restaurants, cafes and eateries. The Park City Kimball Arts Festival collaborates with these restaurants in various ways by organizing special promotions and pricing specials exclusively for the weekend to promote local dining experiences. The Food Truck Round-Up returns for its second year providing culinary delight for the foodies who appreciate the work of these fine chefs.

4. Music & Entertainment in the Mountains.

Main Street comes alive with vibrant energy filled with an incredible line up of musicians starting on Friday night at 5 p.m. until Sunday at 6 p.m.  Festival After Dark keeps Park City Kimball Arts Festival going into the night with entertaining options for all ages and interests such as the Sundance Summer Film Series, the Demolition Derby at Summit County Fair and Utah Symphony Classical Mystery Tour with the Utah Symphony – A Tribute to The Beatles.
