It's never too early to plan for next summer's Usana Amphitheatre concert series. (OK, it is, but play along.)
The latest date has been booked for the summer of 2015 at Usana — at 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City: Multi-platinum rock band Nickelback, bringing its "No Fixed Address" tour on Sunday, July 5.
The band's new album, "No Fixed Address," will be released Nov. 17.
The 61-date tour starts on Valentine's Day in Allentown, Pa., and chugs through the United States and Canada through April 7 in Tulsa, then picks up again in Portland, Ore., on June 19 for a second leg that ends August 29 in Atlanta.
No opening act has been announced for the Usana show.
Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, Nov. 15, on the LiveNation website and at Smith's Tix outlets. Pre-sales, for fan club members who sign up on the band's website, start this Friday.
Correction: Nickelback is actually the second act booked for Usana in 2015; Alan Jackson is scheduled to headline there on May 16 (which isn't technically summer, but close enough). The mistake has been fixed in the text.
