I stopped by my local Target store on the way to work this morning and found all of the back-to-school items in the Dollar Spot area were 50 percent off. I found a lot of books, workbooks, flash cards, school supplies and teacher supplies priced at only 50 cents each! (Only those items with a brown dot next to the UPC code were half price.) Target stores often have their own markdown schedules, which means the store nearest you may not yet have marked down these items, or have discounted them by only 30 percent. But it may be worth checking out if you are in need of these items.
