Utah native Witney Carson, one of the pro dancers on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," has a permanent partner now.

Carson and her high-school sweetheart, Carson McAllister, were married Friday — New Year's Day — in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, followed by a dinner and reception at Noah's Event Venue in Lindon, People magazine reported this weekend.

According to People, Witney's bridesmaids were fellow pro dancers Emma Slater, Lindsay Arnold, Britany Cherry and Jenna Johnson. Three of her former "Dancing With the Stars" partners — Carlos PenaVega, Chris Soules and Alfonso Ribeiro — also attended, along with pro dancer Kym Johnson and "Spy Kids" star Alexa PenaVega (who, like her husband Carlos, competed on "DWTS" this season).

The newlyweds, both 22, started dating in their senior year of high school. Since then, though, much of their relationship has been long-distance, first when McAllister went on his LDS mission in Romania, and later when Witney went to L.A. to perform on "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Dancing With the Stars."

"We've been in this limbo where he's in Utah and I'm in L.A. and we haven't been able to create a life together," Witney told People. "Now, we get to have a fresh start together. I'm excited. He's my best friend."

McAllister agreed: "She's my best friend. I can't wait to spend forever with her."
