The U.S. women's soccer team is coming to Rio Tinto Stadium.

As a part of a two-game exhibition series against Mexico, the two teams will play on the home field of Real Salt Lake, the Major League Soccer champions, on March 31, in a match that will be televised live on ESPN2 and the Fox Soccer Channel. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. MT.

Both countries are preparing to attempt to qualify for the 2011 World Cup. Qualifying is scheduled, tentatively, for this fall. A host country, however, and dates have not been set in stone.

"The challenge at this point is trying to find games for the national team, so that we're getting good preparation for the qualifying," U.S. forward Abby Wambach said in a statement. "It's always a work in progress, but these games are very valuable for the continuing development of our team and the women's game. The more international games we can play, the better we will be."

Tickets go on sale beginning Friday through ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-888-4477-5849 and at the Rio Tinto Stadium ticket office. RSL season-ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets beginning today at www.riotintostadium.com.
