Utahns can expect warm temperatures on Saturday, with highs ranging from the high 70s into the 80s throughout much of the state.
The Salt Lake City area and the southern Wasatch Front will be sunny in the morning, then become partly cloudy with a high in the mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service.
At about 1:30 p.m., the temperature hit 80 degrees in Salt Lake City, making Saturday the hottest day of the year so far.
Highs in Cache County and the northern Wasatch Front are expected to have highs around 80 degrees, with Park City and Heber enjoying temperatures in the high 70s.
Temperatures are predicted to drop slightly on Sunday and then drop a little more on Monday. Highs along the Wasatch Front will range from the 70s to about 80 on those days, the National Weather Service says.
