Letter: Ken Bullock misused public funds; he doesn’t deserve a second chance in Utah’s public sector

I was shocked and disappointed to read in The Salt Lake Tribune on Dec. 14 that Ken Bullock, who resigned from the Utah League of Cities and Towns because of “a scandal over poor management and misuse of public funds,” has joined the Salt Lake City administration under Mayor Jackie Biskupski as a lobbyist.

I fail to understand how a person who misuses public funds deserves a “second chance” in the public sector. Bullock’s personal use of public funds should prevent him from being considered for this position. He does not represent the values of Salt Lake City.
