Letter: It's about gun safety, not politics
Josh O'Neal, general manager of the Rocky Mountain Gun Club in Grand Junction, Colorado, stands in front of a display of firearms at the state-of-the-art shooting range. O'Neal says safety is a high priority at the facility, but he and his staff are apprehensive regarding the possibility that a suicidal person might rent a gun at the site and then kill themselves. To all of the representatives and senators, leaders and citizens of Utah and beyond, something must be done about gun control in this country. It is not an issue of left or right, it’s about the safety of the American people.
Reach across whatever aisles you need to and work together to prove to us, the people you are elected to represent and protect, that you value human lives more than endorsements from the NRA.
