On Aug. 6, there was an article in The Tribune, "Growing up too fast," about girls playing with Bratz dolls and how they were affecting girls' perception of what they should look like.
I am concerned about boys and their perception of what the world should be when they are constantly bombarded by video games that promote wars, destruction and general violence. Parents need to be aware of what all their children are playing with and doing. Sometimes we see G-rated movies and video games that have terrible violence, and that seems to be OK? Not in my book.
