As an 82-year-old United States Navy veteran of World War II, one who on convoy duty on the destroyer USS Kendrick, crossed the North Atlantic 28 times, took part in the invasions of France, Italy and Africa, I have to say now that my proudest moment was on Aug. 3, 2006, when I spoke on Liberty Square in total support of Mayor Rocky Anderson during his Bush protest rally.
Mayor Anderson was right then, and he is right now in calling for the impeachment of George Bush, who in many ways has created the question of whether or not this country can survive the heritage he is leaving us. We cannot stand another two years of this man.
