President Bush says he takes responsibility for the fiasco after Hurricane Katrina. He also says he takes responsibility for the bad intelligence that brought about the invasion of Iraq. Now he admits to high crimes and misdemeanors with the illegal surveillance of innocent American citizens.

When Richard Nixon took responsibility for what we now call Watergate, he resigned the presidency. Of course, he was threatened with impeachment if he didn't.

I expect nothing less from George W. Bush. He should resign the office. I'm going to write to my U.S. Congressman, Rob Bishop, and ask that he enter a bill of impeachment against the president and have him tried in the Senate as the Constitution provides to find out if what he did warrants his removal. I believe it does.

If anyone agrees with this they should write their congressman - Chris Cannon, Jim Matheson or Bishop - and demand action on an impeachment of the president of the United States.

We must fight tyranny wherever we find it, especially when it is in the White House.
