The current economic crisis is making it painfully obvious that neither political party is willing to take actions that will benefit our country in the long run. Both parties are tied to corporate interests. Both John McCain and Barack Obama have shown that they will say anything in order to be elected.

It is time for the media to start giving coverage to alternative candidates, such as Ralph Nader. We need to hear honest ideas from people outside the political machines
