As the sunny, breezy weekend continues, temperatures Saturday will be slightly higher than Friday's.

Along the Wasatch Front, both Saturday and Sunday are expected to be sunny with highs Saturday topping off at 90 degrees and going into the mid 90s Sunday. Temperatures overnight will dip into mid 60s.

On Saturday in the St. George area, skies will be partly cloudy throughout the day with highs around 100 degrees. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will move in during the evening. On Sunday, the partly cloudy skies are expected to yield a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with highs in the upper 90s.

There will be a Hazardous Weather Outlook across the western two-thirds of Utah due to typical seasonal temperatures and isolated thunderstorms, the National Weather Service warns.

The Utah Division of Air Quality has rated the air in most regions across the state as "green," or good quality on Saturday. Only Tooele County and Utah County have any levels rated "yellow," or moderate.

A smoky haze was filling the Salt Lake Valley on Saturday afternoon, which the National Weather Service says is due to wildfires in California.
