A man arrested for having sex with a 13-year-old girl also is suspected of contacting underage girls via MySpace.com, befriending their families, and then raping the girls. Aaron Clow, 21, was taken into custody after a Taylorsville teenager told police she had a relationship with him for three years - since she was 13.

Meanwhile, West Valley City police are investigating at least three cases in which Clow is suspected of raping girls he met on MySpace. His alleged strategy was to meet the girls' families, win their trust and then "take these girls to his residence or another location and rape them," said West Valley City police spokesman Tom McLachlan.

"There are a lot of predators out there using MySpace as a fishing hole," McLachlan said. Clow is being held at the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of rape of a child, sodomy on a child, sexual activity with a minor and two counts of operating a vehicle without insurance. - Erin Alberty
