Police arrested a man in November on suspicion of downloading child pornography at the Salt Lake City public library, according to a search warrant.
Staff at the library's main branch noticed images of nude children and children in sexual positions displayed on the screen while the man was using a public computer, according to the search warrant made public Wednesday. Staff called police, who arrested the 48-year-old man. The warrant claims the man confessed to looking at child pornography.
The search warrant was used to seize and search the library computer. Formal charges have not been filed against the suspect.
