Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. reported record third-quarter revenue on Thursday and a 54 percent earnings-per-share increase over the same period last year.
Nu Skin, the Provo marketer of nutritional supplements and personal-care products, said revenue for the quarter was $334.2 million, an 8 percent increase over last year. Earnings per share were 40 cents a share. Net income was $25.5 million compared with $16.76 million for the same quarter of 2008.
"We are really pleased with accelerated growth on both the top and bottom line," said Truman Hunt, president and chief executive officer.
Nu Skin's shares closed at $23.68, up 61 cents on the day.
