A tractor-trailer overturned in Parleys Canyon near the summit Monday morning, injuring the driver.
The crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. when the truck carrying cement hit ice, slid and overturned, said Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden.
The on-ramp at Parleys summit was still closed at 10 a.m., Roden said. The driver suffered leg injuries and was pinned in the vehicle.
Three other cars in Parleys also slid on ice Monday morning. Those slide-offs were unrelated to the truck crash, and no injuries were reported, Roden said.
