Security firm calls it quits at the SLC airport

Clear Lanes, a private airport security service for passengers, will no longer operate in Salt Lake City.

Citing financial problems, the company this weekend alerted officials at Salt Lake City International Airport that it was closing up shop, said Barbara Gann, airport spokeswoman.

Clear Lanes members should follow standard airport security procedures until more information is available, Gann said.
