Some sun, some clouds. Some wind, some rain. And then, the cycle starts again.

Wednesday's predawn temperatures bottomed out in the upper-40s along the Wasatch Front before climbing toward an afternoon in the upper-60s. Thursday will bring highs in the mid-70s, but sunny skies will give way to breezy, cloudier horizons by evening.

Friday's forecast for the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys is for continued cloud cover, winds of 15-25 mph and highs in the upper-60s, along with afternoon rain showers. By the weekend, though, the region will return to sunshine and highs hovering around 70 degrees.

Wednesday's forecast for southern Utahns promised highs in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies, conditions expected to continue Thursday and on a windy Friday. Clear and sunny, with highs in the low-80s was the prediction for the weekend.

The Utah Division of Air Quality once more awarded all of its monitoring districts with "green," or healthy grades through the remainder of the work week.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website reported that only sagebrush remained "very high" on its pollen index as of Wednesday, with other allergens either "low" or dropping entirely off the sniffles scale.
