Here comes the rain, again, falling on our heads like a memory of the past week's Utah weather, and a prophecy of precipitation to come.

And if, like the Eurythmics' Annie Lennox, you also want to "walk in the open wind," you'll have that too, according to the National Weather Service. Breezes of 10-20 mph will come to the Wasatch Front, along with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, on Saturday and Sunday alike.

High temperatures this weekend will rise into the low 60s, a degree or two warmer than forecast for a Friday that also brought cycles of rain and partly cloudy skies.

Southern Utahns could add 5-8 degrees to their daytime highs, but otherwise the forecast called for similar patterns of breezy, wet weather throughout the weekend.

Small pockets of eastern Utah — the Uintahs and the Abajo mountains — remained under a Winter Weather Advisory through 9 p.m. Friday. At elevations 8,000 feet and above, 4-8 inches of snow were predicted to fall. Winds of 15-25 mph, and period thunder and lightning, also were forecast.

The Utah Division of Air Quality awarded "green," or healthy grades statewide through the weekend, and the Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website reported that as of Friday, only mulberry pollen was at "high" levels.
