A weak storm will graze northern Utah to kick off a weekend of mild temperatures and clean air.

The storm could bring a mix of rain and snow to the northern valleys through early Saturday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The northern mountains might see light, accumulating snow, as well.

Speaking of the mountains, there is a moderate risk of avalanches across the state both Saturday and Sunday, according to the Utah Avalanche Center.

Salt Lake City can expect high temperatures in the low 50s on Saturday and Sunday, with partly to mostly sunny skies once the storm passes. St. George, meanwhile, can expect highs close to 70 degrees and blue skies.

The air is healthy statewide, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.
