Drier weather and warmer temperatures have returned to Utah.

The National Weather Service is predicting highs on Saturday along the Wasatch Front from 70 to the mid 70s. Temperatures on Sunday are expected to reach the upper 70s to low 80s.

Skies will be sunny both days in northern Utah, according to the weather service.

Southern Utah, where 20 people are confirmed killed in deadly flash flooding and a boy is missing and presumed dead, also is predicted to be drier and sunny this weekend.

The forecast in the St. George area and Zion National Park calls for a Saturday high in the low 90s and a high on Sunday in the upper 90s.

The Utah Division of Air Quality is predicting that the air quality will be good statewide during the weekend.

Precipitation could return next week, the weather service says. A "weather disturbance" will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms to the state Tuesday and Wednesday, with the potential to produce heavy rainfall, particularly across southern Utah.
