Thursday night could bring cooling rain and thunder to southern Utah, but first redrocks country must endure triple-digit highs along with 15-25 mph winds — an encore of Wednesday's forecast for the region.

The Utah Division of Air Quality rated Salt Lake, Weber, Davis, Utah and Tooele counties as "yellow," or compromised through the latter part of the work week, but the remainder of the state's monitoring stations got "green," or healthy ratings.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website rated mold "moderate," while all other allergens were "low" on its pollen index as of Wednesday.
