While a lot of people are celebrating America's freedom, Utahns won't be free from the heat.

Sunny Salt Lake City can expect a high temperature of 97 degrees on both Friday and Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

St. George, meanwhile, can expect a high of 104 on Friday, followed by 102 on Saturday. The area could see isolated showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening, too, according to the weather service.

The air along the Wasatch Front isn't all that healthy, either. The air in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis and Weber counties is unhealthy for sensitive groups Friday, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality. Come Saturday, the four counties will join Box Elder, Cache and Washington counties in the "moderate" air quality range.

There is also a fair amount of pollen in the air. As of a count Thursday, there was a "very high" amount of cattail pollen and high amounts of mold and grass pollen in the air, according to the Intermountain Allergy & Asthma Center.
