Having soaked the state over the weekend, Ma Nature will do her best to make Utahns forget the rain and snow with a warming trend early this week.

No storm clouds were on the horizon as Monday dawned along the Wasatch Front, and Tuesday's forecast, too, was for dry conditions. Tuesday's daytime high temperatures for the region will rise into the mid-70s, up 5-7 degrees from Monday's forecast, the National Weather Service said.

Southern Utahns looked for highs on Tuesday in the low- to mid-80s, up 3-5 degrees from Monday. No rain was on tap, but gusty winds — up to 40 mph — were expected.

The Utah Division of Air Quality forecast all monitoring states as "green," or healthy for breathing, into the midweek.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website's index as of Monday ranked mulberry pollen at "very high" levels, while oak was "high" and maple, sycamore and cottonwood came in at "moderate."
