Weather: Rain possible today, but it should be a dry Thanksgiving 2017 for Utah

Wasatch Front motorists might need to turn on their windshield wipers Monday afternoon, but anyone driving to Thanksgiving dinner in Utah can expect good weather.

The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of rain Monday afternoon and evening for the northern half of Utah. High temperatures in Salt Lake City will be in the upper 40s. In St. George, the high is expected to be 63.

The rest of Utah’s week is supposed to be dry and warmer. Salt Lake City will reach the 50s on Tuesday and the 60s on Wednesday. Thanksgiving will be stuck in the 40s. Then the temperatures rise to about 60 again on Friday.

St. George will be in the 70s the rest of the week.
