The wide world of Westeros is going on the road — including a stop in Utah.

HBO Global Licensing and Live Nation Entertainment are mounting a 28-city tour for the "Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience," an immersive performance with visual spectacle, for early 2017 — with a stop at the Maverik Center, West Valley City, on Tuesday, March 21.

Composer Ramin Djawadi will appear on the tour, along with an orchestra and choir, performing the music Djawadi has written for the acclaimed fantasy TV series. A massive screen will show images creating, according to a press release, "a musical journey through the realm — from King's Landing to Winterfell, along the northern stretches of the Kingsroad to The Wall and across the Narrow Sea to Braavos, Meereen and beyond."

Djawadi, in a statement, said, "by combining the music with state-of-the-art technology, we are going to bring the astonishing world of Westeros to fans in a live and unique concert experience."

Tickets for the show — from $39.50 to $99.50 — go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at Smith's Tix.
