West Valley City • Erik Higby’s first goal of the season sent the game into a shootout before the Utah Grizzlies lost 2-1 to the Manchester Monarchs on Wednesday night at the Maverik Center in ECHL action.
Utah goaltender Kevin Carr stopped 25 shots for the hosts. Manchester will stay in town through the weekend as the teams play two more games on Friday and Saturday night.
