PCL baseball: Salt Lake Bees rally past Nashville Sounds, 11-5

The Salt Lake Bees rallied to beat the host Nashville Sounds 11-5 in a Pacific Coast League game on Monday. The Bees trailed 5-1 before scoring three runs in the sixth inning and seven in the eighth. Eric Young Jr. hit a two-run homer in the sixth, and Sherman Johnson had a two-run single in the eighth.

It was the second straight game in which the Bees rallied past the Sounds, as Salt Lake scored 10 runs in the sixth inning on Sunday to win 12-7.

Damien Magnifico (4-2) pitched a scoreless seventh and eighth inning to earn the win on Monday. Starter Tyler Skaggs went 42⁄3 innings and allowed four runs, three earned, on five hits with three strikeouts and two walks on a major league injury rehab assignment.

Young led the Bees with two hits and four runs batted in, while Tony Sanchez added three hits and one RBI.
