PCL baseball: Salt Lake Bees beat Fresno Grizzlies 9-7 to go 7-1 on road trip

The Salt Lake Bees beat the host Fresno Grizzlies 9-7 in a Pacific Coast League game on Tuesday, wrapping up a road trip with seven victories out of eight games.

Bo Way and Eric Young Jr. led the way with two hits each and Carlos Perez drove in three runs as the Bees (13-7) won for the 12th time in 14 games overall. Young extended his hitting streak to 12 games and recorded multiple hits for the eighth consecutive contest.

Luis Diaz got the start and earned the victory in his Triple-A debut, giving up six hits and three runs over five innings while striking out seven.

The Grizzlies fell to 9-11.
