Goerges Niang had 30 points and 11 assists, and Erik McCree scored 27 points as the Salt Lake City Stars rallied to beat the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 115-114 in a G League game before a sellout crowd at Bruin Arena in Taylorsville.
The Vipers built a 13-point lead in the third quarter and maintained that edge midway through the fourth. The Stars picked up momentum with 2:11 left in regulation, going on a 15-2 run to take home the win.
Tony Bradley (16 points and 11 rebounds) and Naz Mitrou-Long (15 points and 11 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles for Salt Lake City.
Monte Morris led the Vipers with 21 points.
