Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver and Ronnie Brewer have won hundreds of games in EnergySolutions Arena.

As members of the Chicago Bulls, however, they got their first one Wednesday night.

Boozer had 14 points, Korver hit a critical three-pointer and Brewer's steal helped seal the victory as all three former Jazz players contributed to Chicago's 91-86 win.

"It always feels good to come in and beat a good team," Brewer said. "Especially a team you used to play for. … It was a hostile crowd but we knew it would be. So we're excited to get the win."

Boozer's performance was hardly vintage.

He missed 10 of his 16 field-goal attempts and grabbed only six rebounds.

In the fourth quarter, Boozer scored two points.

In the final eight minutes, however, he handed out two of his three assists.

Boozer, the villan of the evening for the crowd of 19,911, was booed throughout the game.

Asked if he was trying too hard, he said, "I was just playing. It was one of those games where the refs were letting us play a little bit. There were no real fouls called. I only shot two free throws but I kept taking it in there. … Just kept grinding."

Boozer heard the fans.

"It was a little bit of everything," he said. "It was fun."

With 2:17 left, the Bulls owned an 84-83 lead when Derrick Rose drove, drew the defense and dished to Korver.

He buried his only three-pointer of the game.

"I was just waiting to get a shot," Korver said. "I was sitting there ready for one. I was waiting. … On that play, that's just one of the options.

"We ran it several times in a row and Derrick, obviously, was getting in the middle. They were sagging in a little bit and I got open for a shot."

Smiling, Korver added, "You want to knock that down. That's what you live for, right?"

The Bulls owned an 89-86 lead with less than 10 seconds left when Brewer prevented a possible tying three-pointer by intercepting a Deron Williams' pass.

Brewer was fouled and his two free throws iced the victory.

"D-Rose played great defense, cutting D-Will off and forcing him to make a pass," Brewer said. —
